Tri ck finds himself trapped in a cage w ith four other hostages - a ll of them paralyzed f rom the neck down. When T rick realizes that one of the other hostages is an o ld foe, De tective Epp erson, the t wo begin worki ng toge ther to uncover the connection between them a nd their captor - a masked man they suspect i s the inf amou s Deathstalker Killer. Me anwhile, Agent Bobby Church of the FBI is inv estigating Eppe rson 's disappearance a nd disc overs th e det ective vani shed whil e he had been follow ing a lead in the Deathstalker case. Th e search soon has Chu rch cross ing pat hs with Eppe rson's former part ner, Scott, himself looking into t he abductio n of his fri end, Olivia.
